Activating Social Change by Community Development and Participatory Research

Socio-ecological problems are highly complex, uncertain and shaped on multi-level scale. They affect multiple actors and institutions characterized by diverse kinds of knowledge, interests and values. The fundamental aim of socio-ecological transition is to arrive at sustainability. The complexity of socio-ecological transition requires the concept of sustainability to be lived and thus transformed into habits and action.
